Notes

Studio recording for 'The Nothing That Is' (2024). Guitarists Patrick Sheridan and Will Putney are both confirmed to use Ibanez RG 7-string guitars and Mesa Dual Rectifier amps for modern recordings. No evidence of alternate guitars or amps for the riff section. Effects chain is simplified for rhythm sections, with overdrive and noise gate always on. Effects loop is used for noise suppression and occasional time-based effects, but not for main riff.

Difficulty

The riff section requires advanced right-hand technique, tight palm muting, and fast, precise picking at high gain, making it challenging for all but experienced metal guitarists.
