Notes

Studio recording for '10,000 Days' (2006). Adam Jones is known to use a 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom Silverburst with T-Top humbuckers into a Diezel VH4 (Channel 3) for the main riff/distorted sections of 'The Pot'. No pedal distortion, amp gain only. No evidence of additional pedals for the main riff. Settings based on Amplitube user recreations and typical Jones rig for this era.

Difficulty

The main riff requires advanced palm muting, precise timing, and dynamic control to maintain clarity and articulation under high-gain settings. The rhythmic complexity and need for tight execution make it challenging for most players.
