Studio recording, 2007. Dave Grohl is known to use the Trini Lopez with the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier for distorted tones on 'The Pretender'. No evidence of live rig or alternate guitars for the solo section. All gain/distortion comes from the amp, not pedals.
