Studio recording for 'The Price' (2013/2014). Tor Oddmund Suhrke used the Aristides 080S 8-string with Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups, running into a Hiwatt Custom 50 and Fender Bandmaster. Overdrive pedals (EHX Soul Food, Xotic BB Preamp) were used for the riff tone. No evidence of modulation or time-based pedals for the riff section. Pedal and amp info confirmed for studio recording, not live.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced right-hand control for tight palm muting and syncopation, as well as left-hand accuracy for wide stretches and string skipping on an 8-string guitar. The tempo and rhythmic complexity add to the challenge.
