Notes

Studio recording, 2000. Jeff Loomis used a Schecter 7-string with Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge into a Peavey 5150/6505 head for the album. No evidence of additional pedals for the riff section; tone is direct, high-gain, tight. Tuning is Eb standard (one half-step down).

Difficulty

The riff section is technically demanding due to its speed, intricate rhythm patterns, and the need for precise palm muting and string control on a 7-string guitar.
