Notes

Studio recording, 1970. Tony Iommi used his main 1965 Gibson SG Special with P-90s and a Laney LA100BL head, boosted with a modified Dallas Rangemaster treble booster. No evidence of additional pedals or effects for the riff section. All amp controls reportedly set to maximum (10).

Difficulty

The riff requires solid shuffle feel, tight palm muting, and dynamic picking, but is not technically advanced in terms of speed or complex chord shapes.
