Notes

Studio recording, 1992. Jerry Cantrell is confirmed to have used his G&L Rampage with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Bogner-modded Marshall JCM800 for the 'Dirt' album, with possible layering of Bogner Fish and Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier for thickness. Solo section likely used the same setup with possible wah pedal engagement. No evidence of live rig or alternate guitars for this solo.

Difficulty

The solo requires intermediate to advanced technique due to its fast tempo, use of wah pedal for expressive phrasing, and the need for tight picking and rhythmic accuracy in 7/8 time.
