Notes

Studio recording, 1988. Clean sections of 'To Live Is to Die' are widely reported to use the Roland JC-120 with chorus. The ESP MX220 with EMG pickups was James Hetfield's main guitar for clean and rhythm tracks on ...And Justice for All. No evidence of pedal use for clean, chorus is from amp. No evidence of additional outboard effects.
