Notes

Studio recording for 'From Mars to Sirius' (2005). Joe Duplantier and Christian Andreu both used Gibson Les Paul Studios with stock humbuckers into a Peavey 5150 head and Marshall 1960A 4x12 cab. No evidence of live rig or later amp models (EVH 5150 III) being used on this album. No evidence of boost/overdrive pedal in studio chain for this song. All evidence points to direct guitar → amp setup for main riff. No evidence of modulation or time-based pedals on the riff section.

Difficulty

The riff requires advanced right-hand technique for fast, tight palm-muted chugs, precise timing, and stamina to maintain accuracy at high speed.
