Notes

Studio recording, 2009-2010. Slash used his Kris Derrig Les Paul exclusively for the album, and for this song specifically used a Marshall JCM800 head that was 'unbiased' and 'crackly' for a unique sound. Effects were kept minimal, but Slash mentions using wah and fuzz pedals as needed. No evidence of live rig or alternate guitars/amps for this solo section.

Difficulty

The solo requires intermediate to advanced lead skills, including fast legato, expressive wah pedal use, and precise bending/vibrato. While not the most technically demanding in terms of speed, the phrasing and control over dynamics and effects elevate the difficulty.
