Notes

Studio recording for 'Chuck' album (2004); both Marshall Valvestate 8100 and VHT Pitbull Fifty/CL heads were used for the main riff sections per band member statements. Guitar is Deryck Whibley's Telecaster with Rio Grande Barbeque bridge humbucker. No evidence of additional pedals for rhythm/riff section; high-gain amp tone. Settings are for studio recording, not live.

Difficulty

The riff requires fast, tight alternate picking with aggressive palm muting and precise power chord changes at a high tempo, making it moderately challenging for intermediate players.
