Notes

Studio recording, 1994. Gear confirmed by multiple interviews and period photos. Guitarist Chad Taylor used a Les Paul Standard into a Marshall JCM900 for the heavy riff sections. No evidence of alternate guitars or amps for the main riff. No pedalboard evidence for the studio session; distortion is amp-based.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, percussive palm muting and dynamic control for the heavy, syncopated rhythm, but does not involve advanced lead techniques or complex chord voicings.
