Notes

Studio recording, 1967-68, Disraeli Gears sessions. Clapton used the hand-painted 'Fool' SG for the solo, not the ES-335 or Firebird. Wah pedal is clearly audible in the solo. No evidence of other pedals or effects except wah. No evidence of amp reverb or delay.

Difficulty

The solo demands advanced wah pedal control, fluid legato phrasing, and expressive bends, making it challenging for intermediate players.
