Studio recording, 1966. Guitarist Chris Britton is widely reported to have used a Hofner Club 60 through a Vox AC30 for the original 'Wild Thing' recording. No evidence of pedals or additional effects in the studio. All tone comes from guitar and amp. No evidence of live/touring substitutions for the studio recording.
