Notes

Studio recording for 'A Farewell to Kings' (1977); 'Remastered 2013' is a remaster of the original 1977 studio recording. Lifeson used the Gibson ES-355 with Hiwatt amps for the original studio solo. Chorus and flanger effects are present, likely from Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress and/or Boss CE-1. No evidence of Hughes & Kettner or later gear on the original studio track.

Difficulty

The solo requires advanced technique due to its speed, phrasing, and integration of effects, making it challenging for most players.
