Notes

Studio recording, 1999-2000. Gear confirmed for 'Reinventing the Steel' era. Dimebag used the Washburn Dime 333 with Bill Lawrence L-500XL bridge pickup for main rhythm tracks. Randall RG100ES was his primary amp for heavy rhythm. EQ pedals and Furman PQ-4 used for tone shaping. No evidence of time-based or modulation effects on riff section. Noise gate used for tightness.

Difficulty

The riff requires fast, aggressive palm muting and precise alternate picking at high speed, with tight rhythmic accuracy and clarity under heavy gain, making it challenging for most players.
