Notes

Studio recording, 2013-2014. Laur Joamets played lead guitar on the album using Sturgill's customized Silverface Fender Champ. No evidence of pedals or effects used on the riff section in the studio recording. Live rigs differ and use British amps and more pedals, but this is not relevant to the studio recording.

Difficulty

The riff requires tight, fast alternate picking and precise right-hand articulation to achieve the signature country snap and clarity, but does not involve advanced chord shapes or complex techniques.
