Notes

Studio recording for 'Screaming for Vengeance' (1982). Both Tipton and Downing used Marshall JCM800 amps. Tipton is widely reported to have used a Gibson Les Paul Custom with a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge for the main riff. No evidence of pedals for the riff section; distortion comes from amp. No evidence of effects loop or additional rack effects for the riff. No evidence of live/touring gear being used on the studio recording.
